Where can I view my purchases?
Click the “My Tickets” at the top of the screen when you are logged into your account. Wasta Tickets also sends you an email with your tickets after every purchase.
How do I recover my account password?
To recover your password, first click the “Log In” button at the top of the screen. Then click the “Forgot your password” button below the login fields. Enter the email address used to create your account and press the “Recover” button. You will receive an email with directions on how to reset your password.
How do I know if my order was processed successfully?
Once your order was processed, you will be taken to a page that displays your tickets. On this page you will have the ability to print your tickets. You will also receive an email with your tickets.
How do I purchase a ticket?
First click on the event you would like to attend. Once you are on the event page, you can select the amount of tickets you would like to purchase. Click the button “Add tickets to cart”. Then you will need to input the ticket holder name for you order. You must also read through the Terms of Service and check off the box next to the statement “I agree to the Terms of Service”. Finally click the pay now button and input your credit card.
Why am I required to input my birth date, mobile number and country of residence for events taking place in Dubai?
This is the rules and regulations of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
Can someone else pick up my tickets at will call on my behalf?
This is up to the event organizer. Please contact the event organizer directly.
What if I bought tickets for my friend?
After your purchase is made, Wasta Tickets will send you an email with your tickets. If you purchased multiple tickets, then you can forward tickets to your friends. If the event organizer is checking attendees in via barcode scanning, then everyone will be able to have their own ticket. If the event organizer is checking attendees in manually, it is up to the discretion of the event organizer as to whether all parties must check in at the same time.

How much does it cost for organizers to use Wasta Tickets?
It's free for organizers to use Wasta Tickets as long as you're not charging for tickets! There are no monthly charges, enrollment costs, or setup fees - and Wasta Tickets gives you access to powerful reporting and promotional tools, mobile sales and 24/7 customer support. If you're charging for ticket sales on Wasta Tickets, we charge 5% of the ticket price.
Please Note: If the event takes place in Dubai, but is free of charge to the public, the Dubai DTCM will charge the organiser up to AED 10 per ticket.
How does payout work?
To make sure you get paid for your ticket sales, it's crucial to enter your payout details on the event creation page. You can be paid by direct deposit, check (AED only), or PayPal, and payouts are initiated 5 business days after an event ends. You can change these details at a later time on the event manage page.
To be paid by direct deposit (fastest method), please include your name on the account, physical address, bank account type, bank name, routing number, account number, IBAN and BIC numbers.
To be paid by check, please include your name on the account and physical address.
How do I create an event?
Step 1: Create an account.
Step 2: Click on the “Create Event” button at the bottom of the website.
Step 3: Input the event title. (This is the title shown on the home page)
Step 4: Enter a short description. (This is the description shown on the home page)
Step 5: Enter a long description of all details related to the event, including: check in details, parking details, age restrictions, etc.
Step 6: Create ticket types (General Admission, VIP 1, VIP 2)
Step 7: Press the “Publish Event” button.
What if my event is taking place in Dubai?
In order to host an event in Dubai, event organizers must go through the following process with the Dubai DTCM:
Step 1: Apply for event permit
Step 2: Receives event permit approval
Step 3: Commence the eTicketing process by completing the ‘Ticket Fee Form’ for the Managers
Cheque. If Venue has a Trade License issued by DTCM this step is not required.
Step 4: Deposit Managers Cheque at DTCM premises along with ‘Ticket Fee Form’
Step 5: Complete ‘Event Notification Form’
Step 6: Email to etixDubai@dubaitourism.ae these four items:
- The completed ‘Event Notification Form’
- A copy of the receipt of the ‘Ticket Fee Form’. If Venue has a Trade License issued by DTCM this step is not required.
- A copy of the receipt of the ‘Ticket Printing Fee Form’
- A copy of the event permit
Step 7: Once the above process has been completed, the DTCM eTicketing team will configure the event and provide the following details to Wasta Tickets: Event code, Price type/s, Map configuration of event.
How do I track the ticket sales for my event?
Log into your account and click on the My Events button at the top of the screen. Click on the event you wish to manage. On this event page you will be able to see the ticket types and quantity of tickets sold.
How do I export the attendee list?
For manual check-in, log into the manage event page and click the button “export attendee list”. You can print this page and have someone check in people at the entrance of your event.
How do I check people into my event using a barcode reader?
For barcode scanning check-in, simply download any barcode reading app. Once a patron arrives at the event, your check in host can scan their ticket. The host will be able to verify the attendee on their phone, and mark the attendee as arrived. Please note this feature requires wi-fi at your event location.

Wasta Tickets’s websites and domains, including www.WastaTickets.com, and all of the webpages, subdomains, country level domain variants and subparts of those websites (collectively, our “Site”), all of the services available on or through the Site or otherwise provided by us (including our application programming interfaces), and all of our free mobile applications, including without limitation, Wasta Tickets Neon and the Wasta Tickets app (collectively, the “Applications”) are offered, maintained and provided by Wasta Tickets. We refer to all of these as our “Services.” Wasta Tickets is a Delaware corporation with its principal place of business at 155 5th Street, Floor 7, San Francisco, CA 94103, Reg. No. 4742147 (“Wasta Tickets,” “us,” “we” or “our”). Wasta Tickets is the responsible party or data controller with respect to Personal Data collected through the Services. Through the Services, Wasta Tickets provides a simple and quick means for registered users who are event organizers, planners and charitable organizations (“Organizers”) to create event registration, speaker profile, organizer profile, fundraising and other webpages related to their events, to promote those pages and events to visitors or browsers of the Services and to sell tickets and registrations (or issue free registrations), solicit donations and sell merchandise related to those events to users who wish to make purchases, registrations or donations from or to such events (including to free events) (“Attendees”). We refer to Organizers, Attendees and other visitors and browsers of the Services collectively as “Users” or “you.”

When you interact with us through the Services, we may collect Personal Data and other information from you, as further described below:
3.1 All Users.
For all Users we collect Personal Data when you voluntarily provide such information to the Services, such as when you register for access to the Services, contact us with inquiries, respond to one of our surveys or browse or use certain parts of the Services. The Personal Data we may collect includes without limitation your name, address, email address, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses (where such information is considered Personal Data under applicable laws) and other personally identifiable information. We also collect certain data automatically that is sent to us from the computer, mobile device and/or browser through which you access the Services (“Automatic Data”). This Automatic Data, includes without limitation, a unique identifier associated with your access device and/or browser, characteristics about your access device and/or browser, statistics on your activities on the Services, information about how you came to the Services and data collected through Cookies, Pixel Tags, Local Shared Objects, Web Storage and other similar technologies. As an Organizer we will collect additional Personal Data from you. In some cases we may collect your credit card information (e.g., your credit card number and expiration date, billing address, etc.), some of which may constitute Personal Data, to secure certain payments. In addition, if you use our payment processing services, we will collect financial information from you (e.g., your bank account information or an address to send checks) as necessary to facilitate payments and information required for tax purposes (e.g., your taxpayer identification number). We may also collect or receive Personal Data from third party sources, such as third party websites, your bank, our payment processing partners and credit reporting agencies.
4. How We Use Your Personal Data.
4.1 Specific Reason.
If you provide Personal Data for a certain purpose, we may use the Personal Data in connection with the purpose for which it was provided. For instance, if you contact us by e-mail, we will use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem and will respond to the email address from which the contact came.
4.2 Access and Use.
If you provide Personal Data in order to obtain access to or use of the Services or any functionality thereof, we will use your Personal Data to provide you with access to or use of the Services or functionality and to monitor your use of such Services or functionality. For instance, if you supply Personal Data relating to your identity or qualifications to use certain portions of the Services, we will use that information to make a decision as to granting you access to use such Services and to monitor your ongoing qualification to use such Services.
4.3 Internal Business Purposes.
We may use your Personal Data for internal business purposes, including without limitation, to help us improve the content and functionality of the Services, to better understand our Users, to improve the Services, to protect against, identify or address wrongdoing, to enforce our Terms of Service, to manage your account and provide you with customer service, and to generally manage the Services and our business.
4.5 Organizer Emails.
We allow Organizers to use our email tools to contact Attendees for their current and past events, so you may receive emails from our system that originate with such Organizers. If you have registered for an event on the Services, your email is available to that Organizer. However, Organizers may also import the emails they have from external sources and send communications through the Services to those emails and we will deliver those communications to those emails. See “Opt Out from Electronic Communications” below on how to opt out of these communications.

We are not in the business of selling your Personal Data. We consider this information to be a vital part of our relationship with you. Registered Users may access and update some of their Personal Data being stored by us by logging in and visiting the My Account page. Registered Users may also contact us directly at the address specified below with requests to update and/or access Personal Data that is not accessible through the My Account page. Unregistered Users do not have a formal account with Wasta Tickets, however, you can create a formal account by signing up. After signing up, you can update and access some of your Personal Data on the My Account page. Unregistered Users can also contact us directly with requests to update and/or access Personal Data at the address specified below. We will take reasonable steps to respond to requests relating to Personal Data within thirty (30) days, however, to the extent lawful, we may reject requests that we find to be unreasonable (i.e., require disproportionate efforts or material changes to our information systems), impractical or abusive (i.e., repetitive requests, requests made in bad faith, requests that would compromise third party information).
8. How Long We Retain Your Personal Data.
We may retain your Personal Data as long as you continue to use the Services. You may close your account by contacting us. However, we may retain Personal Data for an additional period as is permitted or required under applicable laws. Even if we delete your Personal Data it may persist on backup or archival media for an additional period of time.

You have several choices available when it comes to your Personal Data:
10.1 Limit the Personal Data You Provide.
You can browse the Services without providing any Personal Data (other than Automatic Data to the extent it is considered Personal Data under applicable laws) or with limiting the Personal Data you provide. If you choose not to provide any Personal Data or limit the Personal Data you provide, you may not be able to use certain functionality of the Services. For instance, in order to open an account, or buy or sell tickets, your name and email address will be required.
10.2 Opt Out from Electronic Communications.
(a) Wasta Tickets Marketing Communications.
Wasta Tickets may send you electronic communications marketing or advertising the Services themselves or events on the Services, to the extent you have registered for the Services or purchased a ticket and/or registration to an event listed on the Services. You can “opt out” of receiving these electronic communications by clicking on the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any such electronic communication. In addition, you may also manage your email preferences at any time by logging in (or signing up and then logging in), clicking on “Account” and then “Email Preferences.”
(b) Organizer Initiated Communications.
Organizers may use our email tools to send electronic communications to those on their email subscription lists, including Attendees who have registered for their events on the Services in the past. Although these electronic communications are sent through our system, Wasta Tickets does not determine the content or the recipients of these electronic communications. Organizers are required to use our email tools only in accordance with all applicable laws. Wasta Tickets provides an “Unsubscribe” link on each of these emails, which allows recipients to “opt out” of electronic communications from the particular Organizer.
(c) Social Notifications.
If you connect your Facebook account or sign up for other social media integrations whose product features include social notifications (i.e., updates on what your friends are doing on the Services), you will receive these social notifications. You can manage these social notifications by toggling your social settings to private or disconnecting such integration.
(d) Transactional or Responsive Communications.
Certain electronic communications from Wasta Tickets are responsive to your requests. For instance, if you are an Attendee, we must email you your ticket or registration when you purchase such ticket or registration. As a further example, if you email our customer support department, we will return your email. Notwithstanding any unsubscribe election that you have made, you will still receive these emails. You can stop receiving these types of emails only by contacting us. By electing to stop receiving all electronic communications from us or through our system you will no longer receive any updates on events you have created (including payout issues) or on events you are registered to attend (including emails with your tickets). We do not recommend that you do this unless you plan to no longer use the Services, are not currently registered for an event, are not currently organizing an event and will have no need to receive further communications from us or through our system.
10.3 Do Not Track.
We currently do not participate in any “Do Not Track” frameworks that would allow us to respond to signals or other mechanisms from you regarding the collection of your Personal Data.
